Got an alert that a rare grey-faced buzzard was 200m off the path. He'd never have stopped to look.

Her seven-year-old built a 27-bird sticker book over a single weekend without ever opening Instagram.
Honest birding.
If we're guessing, we tell you we're guessing. If we don't recognize it, we say so. Confidence is a number, not a vibe.

Asked
often.
Will it work without signal?
Yes. Listen mode runs entirely on-device. The field guide downloads regional packs (47–280 MB) so you can ID in the woods without a bar of signal.
How accurate is the song ID?
94.6% top-1 accuracy on the 412 most common species in your region. We label our confidence honestly — if it's a guess, it's marked as a guess.
Does it disturb the birds?
It's pure passive listening — no playback, no calls, no LED. The mic captures audio your phone is hearing anyway.
Can I export to eBird?
One tap. Pro accounts sync each session as an eBird checklist with location, time, and confirmed species.
Migration patches roll quarterly. Smaller fixes weekly.
